Trinity Skateparks will host workshops on Friday and Saturday, November 23 to 24, at the skate park.
The designers and constructors of the extension will give attendees the chance to give their thoughts to the workers.
You can also have your say through an online survey which asks questions including your favourite spot on the skate park, favourite style and what feature you think is most important for the facility.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council wants to include street elements to the precinct and features that will appeal to younger riders and beginners.
Goulburn Mayor Bob Kirk supports the idea and wants the youth and skating community to give their ideas to make the project as successful as possible.
“I know how many young people and children in Goulburn love our skate park and I am thrilled we are able to build them a better one,” Cr Kirk said.
“The extension will cater for kids of all ages and add to Victoria Park as a whole.
“It is important that we get direct feedback from the people who use the skate park, so I encourage our skaters to get along to one of the workshops or undertake the online survey.”
On Friday, November 23, design workshops are being planned with local schools throughout the day. A public drop-in session will also be held in the evening from 5pm to 7pm at the skate park.
The next day, another open workshop will be held at the venue from 11am to 2pm. A barbecue lunch will be provided by the Goulburn Youth Council that day.
