The winners of both divisions were not required to play in any finals. The competition was played in a round robin style and divided into three pools, and the team with the most cumulative points at the end of the four day competition was crowned the winner.
In the boys’ group, it was the NSW Stars who swept aside all of their opposition. Across both Pools A and B, the Stars compiled a record of six wins and three draws, which put them well ahead of their next closest rival, the NSW Lions, who had two wins, six draws, and a loss.
In the girls competition, it was the NSW Lions who were victorious, with six wins, two draws, and a loss. Queensland were the runners-up in the competition, with four wins, two draws, and two losses.
The Under 13’s competition has been followed by the Under 15’s Boys and Girls, which is currently underway. At the time of writing, the teams are enjoying a training period, with matches scheduled to begin at 5.00pm on Tuesday.
The Under 15’s competition will run until this weekend, with the finals scheduled for Saturday January 12.
