The local Parkinson's Support Group is holding their second annual function to raise funds to assist in securing a specialist neurological nurse for our region. Entertainment will be by The Spooky Men's Chorale, an acapella group, one of whom is a member of the local Parkinson's Support Group. Aftermath of WWI

The Remembrance Museum contains militaria from the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts right back to the New Zealand Maori War, fought in the mid-19th century. The theme focuses on returning troops, the Spanish influenza pandemic: 'the aftermath of war'.
