"The business started in 2009 with Toyota, expanded with Nissan in 2011, and Suzuki in 2013," explains the general manager David Albrighton.
"Watch out for our 10 year anniversary giveaways coming soon," he added.
Selling those brands new "as well as a wide range of quality used cars," they "also service all makes and models and have access to over 200 used cars at any one time."
David said 2018-19 had been good overall. "Despite the new car market being down close to 15 per cent year-on-year, our business has maintained and even improved in certain areas this year. This is due to the strength and reliability of our brands but also due to our increasing large loyal customer base who keep coming back to us. This is something we are really proud of and very appreciative for."
Looking at the bigger picture, "The downturn in the new car market nationally has put pressure on all dealers, as has the ASIC changes around banks and finance companies lending criteria. The good news for our customers is that vehicle finance is now more affordable and much more transparent."

In terms of where they see the vehicle market heading in the future, "We are proud to have three new car brands that are leading the way in innovative and more fuel efficient vehicles."
As examples, "We have just launched the new Toyota Rav4 Hybrid to compliment the already popular Corolla and Camry Hybrid models with more of these green vehicles on their way to us. Saving our environment, plus giving the customer the benefit of fuel economy of just 4.5L per 100km is something our customers are really excited about."
Additionally, "Nissan have just launched their Nissan Future Value which gives our customers the peace of mind today for a guaranteed trade-in value next time they upgrade."
While "Suzuki are providing us with ever better cars with exciting new looks, optional turbo engines and at great prices, plus their cheap servicing costs and finance repayments means they are always popular for our customers."
GCM's goals for 2019-20 are "With the support of the local community we hope to continue to build our business, employ even more local staff and support the families of as many local people as we can. We are expanding our service department to facilitate express maintenance services for our local customers, especially those who commute every day and need their service done quickly before leaving for work or also just those with a busy lifestyle."
Currently, "The best tip we can give is to get in now at the end of financial year while Toyota, Nissan and Suzuki are all looking to make their end of year target figures."
