With nerves rattled by the recent announcement of the closure of the Harris Scarfe store in Goulburnn, Target is keen to dispel strong rumours in the community that it is closing its Goulburn store.
A spokesperson from the company has told The Goulburn Post that it is definitely not the case.
"It is business as usual for Target, and all stakeholders will be communicated with well in advance of any planned change to Target's store network," a Target spokesperson said.
"As always, and with great respect, our team members will be communicated with first if there are any planned changes to our stores."
"We look forward to continuing our relationship with the communities where we operate and remain committed to providing our customers quality fashion and basics at low prices."
