Cassi Law, a Year 10 student at Goulburn High, has been named in Team White, while Emily Adam and Chloe Waddell, who both play for the Dirty Reds and are both in Year 11 at Trinity, were named in Team Blue.
Ash Mewburn, as the Dirty Reds women's coach and a teacher at Goulburn High School, has overseen the development of all three girls, and said that they thoroughly deserved their opportunity.
"To be honest, I'm not surprised," Mewburn said.
"These three girls are probably the top of our youth coming out of Goulburn at the moment, they train hard.
"I train Cassie Law, she's the youngest of the three ... she's a fantastic leader with our Goulburn girls' high school program, and she's an exceptional young, talented girl.
"Chloe and Emily are leading girls from Trinity ... they're learning a lot each week and I can see that they'll be quite good leaders."
Despite the strength of the three girls' performances and attitudes throughout the year, Mewburn said that they were "actually quite surprised" to hear of their selections.
"They didn't take it for granted, that was for sure. They turned up to trials, gave it their all.
"I've been speaking to their coaches as well, to see what we can do in Goulburn to further their representative career over in Canberra.
"They can't wait to continue learning from their coaches in Canberra."
As someone who has gone through the representative pathways with the Brumbies herself, Mewburn hopes that the girls can continue to develop their technical skills and bring that knowledge and confidence back to their respective local teams.
The other positive that she sees from Cassi, Emily, and Chloe's selections is that the Brumbies are giving girls from regional areas the same opportunities as those from Canberra.
"It's great to see that they're selecting from country teams. We are being looked at now, we're being looked at not only in our senior representative pathways, but in our junior representative pathways," Mewburn said.
