The movie Ride Like a Girl and the fundraising event attracted over 175 cinema-goers.
"It was a fantastic night," organiser Genevieve Dahl said. "We raised over $2000 through ticket and raffle sales that will all go towards Rotary's worldwide goal of ending Polio".
Rotarian Vero Joseph said polio is now only in three countries worldwide, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nigeria.
"Nigeria has been Polio free for three years and there were only 33 cases in the other two countries last year," he said.

Club treasurer Grant Pearce said The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation are strong supporters of the End Polio campaign.
"Their two for one donation takes our fundraising to over $6000," he said.
Rotarian Sarah Ruberto said support from the community was overwhelming.
"We had so many people pre-book tickets, as well as make donations. Local businesses donated their time and products to be raffled off on the night," she said.
The organisers thanked Goulburn Race Club, F45 Training Goulburn, Top Shot Photographics, Lush Soy Candles & Diffusers, Lilac City Cinema and Rotarian Grant Pearce, who all donated prizes for the raffle.
"Harvest supplied a fantastic grazing platter for moviegoers to enjoy after the screening," a spokesperson said.
