At Mulwaree High, some of the students who sat the second English exam thought it had been ok. It included questions on Shakespeare's The Tempest among other texts.
"It was better than I expected, though the questions were pretty specific," Franscesca Moor said.
For other students suffering from exam stress, one student had a resilient message about life.
"You can only try your best. At this stage you know what you know," Morgan Farrell said.
"It's not the end of the world. There are always other pathways if you don't get what you want, in the end."
Examinations continue this week.
Meanwhile, the PCYC Goulburn, along with Headspace, Mission Australia and the council is supporting young people during this stressful time.
They will be offering stress release exercises, food, yoga, meditation, breathing techniques and chill-out zones at the PCYC on Wednesdays, October 23 and 30 and November 6, from 6-8pm.
