Riding for the Disabled (RFD) received a well deserved donation from the Goulburn and District Art Society (GDAS) on Thursday, October 11.

GDAS secretary Lesley Whitten said the society's president Helen De Jonge presented the charity with the cheque for $628.
"Representatives from Riding For the Disabled met with Helen to receive the cheque.
"The money was raised at the art society's recent Annual Art Exhibition at the Goulburn Workers Club."
RFD committee member Maggie McFadyen said she was greatly appreciative of the funds and will use it to will help to buy hay for the ponies.
Each year during the Art Society's Annual exhibition, funds raised by the raffle are donated to a worthy recipient in Goulburn.
Ms De Jonge said gifting donations to the chosen chairity every year was a delight to do.
"The art society has great pleasure each year presenting the cheque to organisations who need that extra help to get by," Ms De Jonge said.
Riding for the Disabled is a charity which helps people with all types and levels of disability by offering horse riding activities.
