Police said the crash happened at about 6.15pm and in involved three cars at the junction of Highland Way and the Hume Highway.
Emergency services are on the scene of a two-car crash near Marulan.
Police said the collision occurred at the intersection of Highland Way and the Hume Highway, just north of the town at 6.12pm Friday.
Two people aged in their eighties suffered shock. It is not known at this stage whether they sustained other injuries.
It's also unclear whether one of the vehicles was turning from the highway on to Highland Way at the time. However, police said one car was "T-boned."
The southbound lane was closed for a time but has since been re-opened.
General duties police, Police Rescue, ambulance and the RFS have attended the scene.
