Unlike previous years, the entry to this year's event will be by donation.
"In light of the current bushfires that are impacting a significant area of New South Wales, entry to the event will be by donation. All donations will go directly to bushfire relief efforts," Angela Remington, Goulburn Mulwaree Council's events officer, said.
This year, screening of Disney's newest edition of 'Aladdin', starring Will Smith, will feature on the big screen.
"Our first Pictures and Popcorn event for 2020 is definitely going to make a splash with all the favourites returning," she said.
"This is absolutely an event for everyone. You can dive in, cool off and watch the movie from the water or stay dry and watch from the land. What better way to spend a summer evening than with family and friends."

Activities in the kids zone includes swimming, giant aqua-run, bumper boats in the toddler pool and meltdown eliminator.
Adding to the summer pool party theme, DJ Amy James will be live throughout the night playing a range of summer hits.
Eat Street will feature a range of food trucks and stalls with a variety of cuisines ranging from Turkish Gozleme and pizza to donuts, ice cream and gelato.
As Goulburn has low air quality due to smoke from bushfires, council has advised members of the community who are interested in attending the event to monitor conditions on the day and consider their health before attending.
The activities will start at 4pm and the movie will start after dark.
