Give 'soundbath' a go on Friday, January 31 at Life Yoga on 70 Fitzroy Street from 6.30pm.
All funds raised will be going towards the RFS.
Move into a meditative state while listening to rich tones, soothing vibrations and mesmerizing harmonies of ancient Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, rain drums and chimes.
Organiser Jacinta Ojwang said soundbath was similar to deep meditation.
"The vibration of the sounds of the instruments takes you into a deep and beautiful place," Ojwang said.
"It's really good for people who struggle to relax.
"It's really calming and has healing properties."
Ojwang, who has been running soundbaths since 2014, said soundbath comes with many benefits.
"It gives you stress relief, helps you release of emotional traumas, gives you mental clarity, lowers your blood pressure, heightens your intuition and perception and removes mental and emotional negativity," she said.
"It also improves sleep, gives relief from muscle or joint aches, eases anger and depression and enhances creativity."
With all the bushfires keeping the RFS on their feet so far this summer, this is a win-win situation.
"This is a great opportunity for you to start the year off in a beautiful and relaxed way while also giving back to the fire victims.
The session is 90 minutes long and participants need to bring bottled water, a yoga mat, and wear comfy clothes.
Payment is due at time of booking and is $30 per person.
Message Ojwang on her Facebook page 'Jacinta Ojwang: The Inner Peace Collective' to book and pay your spot.
