The Under 12 Girls team, consisting of a lot of players who are new to the representative scene, showed they are ready for this level of competition. They comfortably won all of their games, defeating Albury 34-14, Shoalhaven 46-13 and Queanbeyan 40-14.
Like their younger counterparts, the Under 14 Girls won all of their games in the Division 2 competition, with an average winning margin of 34 points.
They defeated Albury 40-29, Illawarra 48-14, Moss Vale 72-13 and Wagga Wagga 63-31 to see them sit equal top of the ladder.
The Under 16 Girls got off to a perfect start in the Division 1 competition where they will be looking to defend their championship wins from the 2016 Under 12 and 2018 Under 14 competitions.
They sit in first place on the ladder after defeating Wagga Wagga 96-37, Illawarra 83-29, Albury 76-50 and Queanbeyan 65-32.
Our Under 18 Girls ensured all of our girl's teams remained undefeated for the weekend when they comfortably won all of their games in the Premier Division. They defeated Batemans Bay 98-55, Moss Vale 96-16 and Canberra 79-36.
Our boy's teams were not so lucky with the Under 16 Boys failing to record a win in the Division 1 competition.
However, the boys showed glimpses of what they are capable of and with some hard work in their next few training sessions should be able to play at a more consistent level and a win is not far off.
The Under 18 Boys did well to win two from three in the Premier Division. They recorded wins against Queanbeyan, 86-76, and Batemans Bay, 86-81, but went down to Albury, 93-46.
With all divisions combined in the Under 18 competition, the boys are expecting some tough games in the coming rounds.
They will be looking for a few more wins to qualify for the Division 1 finals when the teams are split for the finals round.
A special mention should also be made for the referees who travelled away to referee for Goulburn who also had a successful weekend.
Round 2 will be played in Wollongong on April 4 and 5.
