"There was an incident at Biala Wind Farm where an employee from ARC Wind fell from height with details being investigated," they said.
"Emergency services attended the scene and SafeWork NSW was notified. The support of emergency services is appreciated and the injured person has been taken to Canberra Hospital where he was assessed and treated and is expected to make a full recovery.
"Our primary focus has been to ensure the necessary support has been provided for the injured person. An investigation is being undertaken."
10:40am Wednesday
An emergency services spokesperson said the man, 49, was working inside a wind turbine at Biala wind farm late yesterday afternoon when he fell 10 metres down.
They said he sustained serious chest injuries as well as shoulder and leg injuries.
Police Rescue performed a vertical rescue with a stokes litter (rescue basket).
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the man was transported to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
The accident is under investigation by Safe Work NSW.
A spokesperson from Safe Work NSW said they were "investigating after reports that a man was injured while working on a wind turbine in Biala yesterday".
6:45pm Tuesday
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said the man was currently on road via ambulance to Canberra Hospital.
5:00pm Tuesday
Emergency services are on the scene after a man fell into a wind tower at Biala wind farm on Grabben Gullen Road.
A spokesperson said a 50-year-old man fell 10 metres down at around 4pm today.
They said police, ambulance and Fire and Rescue were on scene with a rescue helicopter on its way.
Police Rescue crews are currently performing a vertical rescue.
An emergency services spokesperson said the man was believed to have shoulder and leg injuries.
