Currently, more than 45,000 children in Australia can't live with their parents. These children desperately need what most of us take for granted every day - a safe place to call home.
You have the power to change the lives of three sibling boys from the Goulburn region, by becoming a foster carer. This will involve their daily care and taking them to medical appointments. You will be guided every step of the way, with comprehensive training, 24-hour support, regular home visits and an allowance to help you support the children.
The three boys are aged between five and 17 years old.
We are looking for carers who have got lots of love, time and support to offer a child.
Becoming a foster carer may seem like a big step - and it is - but it provides the safety and security that vulnerable Australian children so desperately need.
Potential carers must have empathy for children who have experienced trauma. Applicants will undergo a foster care assessment and checks. Ideal candidates should have at least one adult in the house who does not work full time, and no school age children living at home.
Approved foster carers receive comprehensive training, respite and 24/7 support.
We encourage children to remain connected to culture, family and community.
We welcome carers from all walks of life and families of all sizes.
We have an evidence informed approach that supports both carers and children to thrive.
