Paul Scott-Williams, CEO/Artistic Director of Hume Conservatorium is "excited" to be partnering with Southern Tablelands Arts to take part in the festival for the first time.
"Our students and staff are keen to find any opportunity to perform whether in front of an audience or online. Our contribution will focus on youth and emerging young artists from our region," Mr Williams said.
"I congratulate Richard and the SSMF team for innovating the move to a national online festival and encourage everyone to follow this diverse musical feast starting on September 5."
Festival Artistic Director Richard Petkovic feels that it's really important to keep providing opportunities for artists from diverse cultural backgrounds to work together while the performing arts industry is in crisis.
"It's a chance to create something that expands the performers as 'artists' and to help expand what Australian music is today," he said.
