Police said they were conducting speed enforcement duties on the Hume Highway at 11.20am Sunday when they detected a car travelling at 163km/h in a marked 110km/h zone.

After stopping the vehicle at the Goulburn bypass, the 26-year-old driver produced an international driver's licence.
Officers immediately suspended the man's overseas driving privileges in NSW and he was issued with a traffic infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
