Members got together on Saturday, August 8 at the Goulburn Workers Club Station Room and Gouburn and District Art Society vice president Alex Mortensen said safety precautions were in play.
"Incognito behind their masks were 12 of members of the society who all followed safe practices like adhering to social distancing and wearing masks," Mr Mortensen said.
"Not surprisingly, they still recognised each other hidden behind the masks.
"As words were a little muffled at times, they had to speak somewhat louder."

There are still a couple of workshops held in the old council depot planned by the GDAS including Still Life Pastels with Grace Paleg, who is a well known and acclaimed pastel artist from Batemans Bay and Portrait Drawing and Painting with Ekaterina Mortensen, who is a member of the GDAS.
The Life Drawing sessions involving models from both Goulburn and Canberra will also be on when the weather warms up.
"Workshops are open to members and non-members and members have the benefit of lower fees," Mr Mortensen said.
"The monthly Life Drawing event is free to members and limited to members only."
The vice president said Goulburn Mulwaree Council may give the GDAS permission to add a few things to the depot.
"We are eagerly waiting for council's approval to erect a partition wall and then to install air conditioning so the very large space becomes suitable for use throughout the year," he said.
