Firefighters have contained a structural fire at the Tangled Vine Cafe in Taralga.
Crews were able to remove roof sheeting to access and extinguish the blaze, NSW Rural Fire Service operational officer for the Southern Tablelands, Lachlan Gilchrist, said.
The fire started in the cafe's deep fryer and spread to the roof, which put the neighbouring buildings at risk of catching alight, Mr Gilchrist said.

Firefighters are working to control a significant structural fire at the Tangled Vine Cafe in Taralga.
The fire became alight in the early afternoon, and a triple zero call was received at 2.30pm by the Rural Fire Service (RFS).
Fire and Rescue NSW Station 305 Crookwell and three rural fire brigades, Laggan, Tarlo, and Taralga, are on scene, and Crookwell RFS is on route. NSW Police and Ambulance are also on scene.
There are no reports of injuries.
Firefighters worked to contain a fire that started in the deep fryer, it then spread to the roof of the cafe on Orchard Street.
At around 4pm, crews worked to bring this fire under control, NSW Rural Fire Service operational officer for the Southern Tablelands, Lachlan Gilchrist, said.
"We are concerned about it spreading into the adjacent structure," he said.
Mr Gilchrist reminded the public to steer clear of the scene and allow firefighters to work safely.
