The Goulburn Table Tennis Club's winter competition has completed its second round, which was headlined by a number of exciting matches at the John Lees Centre last week.

In the first match, the Panthers defeated the Eagles 6-5 with Richie Jiang the star of the night recording. Jiang recorded three singles wins, one of which included a close five-set battle against TK Fun.
Another five-set thriller saw Gerard Gray come out on top over Simon Jiang 11-9 in the fifth set.
The second A Grade match was won by the Tigers, 8-3 over Eels. Two enthralling five-setters went to Jack Gray over John Lees and Chising Chung outlasted Leon Jensen in an entertaining encounter.
The B Grade teams competition was also played this week at the centre.
The Sharks defeated Pies 6-5 with a close five-setter going to Jamie Miles over Isaac Mauro. The second match was also won 6-5 by the Jet Setters over the Storm, and the closest rubber went to Sam Plumb, who defeated Phil Fraser in five sets.
The final match was taken out by Dragons 8-3 over Bulldogs with Kev Fitzgerald beating Bill Smith 13-11 in the fifth set.
Practice will be held this Friday night, and the club said all players are welcome to attend.
