They are captains Ben Luck and Lachlan Handley and vice captains Sebastian Cohrt and Braxton Thompson.
Ben, who has captained sporting teams in the past, said they all have one aim in common and that is to better the school.
"We want to create the best learning environment possible and want the students to feel they can have a say," Ben said.
"It is important to represent the students in everything you do.
"This is an institution for them after all."
The four boys are all very proactive as they have already started discussing about the things they can do to improve the school.
Lachlan, who was also school captain in primary school, said they had been watching the former captains closely and gained from it.
"We learnt a lot from them, especially the way they speak," Lachlan said.
"You need a good image to be successful."
Goulburn High School relieving principal Yogesh Mani said he felt the school was in good hands with the boys in charge.
"I am very confident in them," Mr Mani said.
"They are very positive and inspiring young men."
He also gave the boys some stern advice.
"They have to be grounded and serve the school community," he said.
"They will have to make tough decisions which may not be popular, but it will be for the greater good."
The boys officially start their duties next term.
