The Tigers defeated the Eagles 8-3, as Jack Gray recorded a good win over promising junior Richie Jiang. Chising Chung also played well to come out on top over Simon Jiang.
The second A Grade match went to the Rabbitohs 10-1 over the Panthers, with Michael Turner coming from two sets down to beat T.K. Funn in five sets. Gerard Gray also won a tough five-setter over Lachlan Bill.
B Grade was also held on the same night, with Sam Plumb's Jet Setters defeating Lisa Chung's Pies 7-4. This match witnessed two tough five-setters as Bob Philipson defeated Nicola Fraser and Harry Mauro took out his brother Isaac in a hard-fought encounter.
Dave Howlett's Bulldogs accounted for Phil Fraser's Demons 6-5. Ann McGuirk won a three-setter over newcomer Siobham Scott and Dave Manning's Dragons got home against John Gray's Storm 6-5 when Jacob Mauro defeated Sam Dunn.

Players are reminded that practice sessions take place at the John Lees Table Tennis Centre on Thursday and Friday nights.
Due to an increase in player numbers taking part, Thursday nights are specifically for competition players and Friday nights are mainly designed to cater for social players and beginners.
The centre opens at 7pm. It is located on Sportsway, off Finlay Road, near the Workers Club Precinct. For further information contact 0408 467 862.
