Residents, and visitors, are decorating their offices, businesses, houses, mailboxes, and themselves, to raise money for the Breast Cancer Network Australia.
Staff at the Gunning District Community Health Service (GDCHS) put up the idea following the breast cancer diagnosis of a colleague.
"It really shook our organisation," GDCHS general manager, Katie Yeo said.
"She is only very young, and a pivotal staff member," said Ms Yeo.
"As an organisation, we really wanted to do something to acknowledge anyone that has also been through a similar situation and raise awareness for breast cancer.
"Rebecca McCamish and I thought let's do a fundraiser and make Gunning go pink for one day."
Ms McCamish rallied business owners in Gunning to donate prizes towards a monster raffle and help towards turning Gunning pink by decorating their shop fronts and wearing pink outfits.
"Everyone was very much on board and thought what a wonderful fun day, not only to raise funds for a special cause but to do something fun," Ms Yeo said.

Businesses in the main street have donated towards the raffle and will be decorating their shopfronts and dressing in pink, as well as the pre-school, primary school and Upper Lachlan Shire Council employees.
GDCHS has designed one-of-a-kind pink t-shirts for its employees to wear.
"Rebecca and I will be walking the streets of Gunning in our pretty pink attire to sell more raffle tickets to locals, and any visitors, to raise as many funds as we can for Breast Cancer Network Australia," said Ms Yeo
"This event hasn't happened before in Gunning and I think it is a breath of fresh air for all businesses to participate considering the trying times we have been through with Covid-19 over the past months," she said.
"We also hope by raising awareness, on this day, it will help bring the Breast Screen NSW bus [mobile screening centre] to the Gunning town."
To support the event, the community is encouraged to dress up in pink, and raffle tickets for the monster raffle can be purchased at the GDCHS.
