The blaze burned inside a shipping container that contained chemicals that were utilised at that site, a spokesperson from the Rural Fire Service said.
Crews were alerted by a triple zero call at 10.22am, December 8.
Firefighters from Taralga, Laggan and Crookwell RFS and Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene.
There were no injuries to persons.
Fire and Rescue NSW will remain on scene to assess any hazardous materials that may be a risk to health, property or the environment.
The facility is owned by the Upper Lachlan Shire Council.
