Millie Burgess and Clara Costigan came first and second respectively in the Archdiocesan Public Speaking competition last term.
The girls first had to compete against other students in the school before moving onto the northern region.
The top two from the other regions (Western, Southern and Eastern) went head to head in a bid to be crowned the champion.
For the first time ever, the speeches for the competition involving about 50 schools were held via Zoom.
Millie, the first winner for the school since 2013, spoke about kid power and how the youth have a bigger influence than most people think.
Clara spoke about belonging in school, how she had struggled in the past and how she overcame it.

The girls were judged on their content, facial expression, hand gestures, tone of voice, confidence and fluency.
Both girls said they would love to compete again next year.
