They held their annual Christmas appeal on Friday, December 11 at the space where Harris Scarfe used to be.
Lions Club member Bill Smith said this was the 25th year they had done it.
"This is their major fundraiser and all of the money goes to the local community and the people of Goulburn," Mr Smith said.
The Lions Club was able to host their appeal at the venue this year because one of the members knew the owners.
Members from St Vincent de Paul and Can Assist were also present to receive donations for Charles Sturt University (CSU) and the NSW Police Academy.
NSW police and CSU staff bought toys, books and board games to donate to those charities as well as 2GN.
St Vincent de Paul and Can Assist were extremely grateful towards the generosity of CSU.
