Give Blake O'Connor and Sinead Burgess a big welcome when they team up to perform in Goulburn for the very first time at the Astor Hotel on Saturday, January 16 from 7pm.
O'Connor is a seasoned songwriter, guitarist and performer.
This year, he took home the prestigious Best New Talent of The Year Golden Guitar at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
Burgess, on the other hand, is a Nashville-based Australian singer-songwriter and is well-known to audiences as a guitar slinging, one-woman show stopper whose solo sets and bell bottoms nail a crowd with more intensity than most full bands.
In what has been a tough year, O'Connor said music played a vital role in helping people put their mind off things.
"I think historically, music has always played a huge role in pivotal times," O'Connor said.

"Music is all about coming together and feeling apart of something, and I think now more than ever that is really important."
Burgess says some of the songs they will sing are well known while the others will be original.
"We'll be performing a range of both of our own original material as well as a couple of covers we love," Burgess said.
"Our songbooks are quite diverse so there's something in there for everyone."
To those contemplating on going to the live event, Burgess had this to say.

"Our show has been a safe place for people to come and enjoy themselves whilst also strongly adhering to social distancing rules," Burgess said.
"We are grateful to be back on the road doing what we do and pride ourselves on creating a fun environment where everyone can have a great time safely."
