A total of 42mm of rainfall was received in Goulburn while 30.2mm of rainfall was recorded at Crookwell between January 29-31.
Helen Reid, meteorologist, Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) said that the rainfall over the weekend was predominantly due to the thunderstorm activity.
The BoM has predicted predicted high chance of showers today as well. "There is a possibility of thunderstorm late this afternoon and evening," she added.
Light winds in the evening turning into northeasterly 15/20 km/h are expected in the evening.
Thunderstorms forecast has been made for Tuesday as well with very high chance of showers in the morning.

Meanwhile, South East Local Land Services senior agricultural adviser Matthew Lieschke feels that rainfall will helpful for the farmers who are in the early stage of sowing their crops during this month.
"Cereal crops like grazing wheat and grazing oats often sown in February which provides early feeds. The rain will be beneficial for the crops," he added.
Recent rain has improved the soil moisture which improved by 10 per cent over the past week.
