Congratulatory messages were read out from the Governor General, prime sinister, state MP, the mayor and local Clubs and organisations.
Barry, Denielle and their family were surprised and delighted, as many talented musicians and poets, performed various items composed especially for this momentous occasion.
There was much laughter throughout the evening, along with emotional moments, as stories and memories were shared from local and out-of-town, long-time friends.
