Ideal racing conditions were on offer for riders who signed on for the 20km Individual Time Trial (or the race of truth) on Middle Arm Road. Each rider raced against the clock without any assistance from drafting other riders.

From the cemetery riders had a steady climb to the turnaround point just past Dennys Lane. A slight head cross wind made for a challenging outward leg but from the turnaround it would assist the riders on the return journey.
Riders set out at 30 second intervals with the aim of completing the course in the shortest possible time.
Cameron Roberts took out A Grade at almost 45km/hr from Robbie Dorsett.
In B Grade Jason Cook rode strongly for the win at just under 40km/hr. Veteran time trial specialist Neils Laugesen finished second with Jeremy Gilchrist in third place.
Mark Stutchbury finished a minute ahead of Chris Berry in C Grade with Zane Jackson finishing third.
Wayne Skillman had a strong win in D Grade over Peter Jackson and Bernie Bugden.
Next Wednesday 3 February 2021 racing returns to Wakefield Park for graded scratch races. Sign on is at 5.45pm and racing starts at 6.15pm. New riders are welcome.
