Two people have been arrested after allegedly stealing money from a local hotel.
Staff at the hotel called police and at about midday, police searched a vehicle on Auburn Street outside The Reject Shop.

An amount of money was retrieved and returned to the hotel.
A man and woman from Sydney were arrested and will be charged with stealing and drug offences.
The matter is still under investigation.
