The show is brought to life by an all-female cast, crew, band and production team, featuring an incredible double-cast, many of whom are mothers themselves.
It has been directed by Hannah Cotton and Marianne Powles and written by Sue Fabisch, by arrangement with David Spicer Productions.
"It's a celebration of womanhood so we decided it make it an all-women team and everyone involved in the show is a woman," Marianne said.
"Because of Covid, we thought that we will practice with two casts comprising eight women who will be playing four roles. In that manner, we will keep going ahead even if someone is unwell or has to isolate," she said.
Anne Watterston and Sarah Trama play the role of Amy, Alecia Walker and Melissa Shoard play Barb, Amanda Aitken and Amelia Whalley-Routley play the character of Brooke, and Ebrentia Brits and Cara Robinson play the character of Tash. There is a cameo from stage manager Michelle Treble too.
The Lieder Theater's show opens on March 3 and continues until March 20. Book your tickets at www.trybooking.com/BOGEF.
