A new warehouse space for distribution could be on the cards for Tribe Breweries which has experienced "immense growth".
The Goulburn Mulwaree Council was notified in this month's council meeting that talks have taken place between Tribe Breweries and Pelligra Group about possibly leasing warehouse space for their distribution.
Pelligra Group is the owner of the distribution centre off Lillkar Road where Coles currently operates.
"Pelligra Group has been speaking with Tribe Breweries about warehouse space for their distribution, due to the immense growth Tribe has gone through with their brewing. Tribe Breweries is interested in leasing space alongside Coles in the distribution centre, in order to focus on brewing at their site on the corner of Ducks Lane and Hume Street," the council business paper reveals.

Tribe's community relations manager and former Goulburn Mulwaree Mayor Geoff Kettle confirmed that talks have taken place and said that they are always looking to expand and hire more people locally. "With that expansion comes possibly the need for space," he added.
Preparations to set up the brewery started in 2019 after getting the green signal from the Goulburn Mulwaree Council.
In 2020, Tribe Breweries was up and running and was even looking to hire more people locally as their scale-up exercise was expanding faster than they had anticipated.
CEO Anton Szpitalak at the time had said that demand for their products had been increasing and they were looking for additional team members.
In May 2020, Tribe Breweries launched Goulburn lager during COVID-19 lockdown. It is a "crisp lager" with all-Australian ingredients, named in honour of the Ducks Lane address.
In July's council meeting that year, it was noted that the brewery has exceeded the local employment requirements and was eligible to receive a 50 per cent discount on their developer charges for 2019-20 water and sewer.
