Ellie Thrower continues to impress.
She is now the u12 girls NSW/ACT state slalom champion.
The water skier has always done terrifically well in the tournaments she participates in and this time was no different.
The achievement came when the 10-year-old competed in Tournament Waterski NSW and Waterski ACT Malibu State Titles in Albury on March 27-28.
On the way to her crown, she managed to beat her personal best.
However, that wasn't her only achievement.
She managed to finish in second place for the trick event and also did it in style with a personal best.
Ellie could not have been in a better head space going into the National Waterski Championships in Mulwala over the Easter weekend.
There, the medals kept on piling up.
She won a bronze medal as well as a personal best score in the trick skiing event.
She also came third in the slalom event, which was accompanied by another personal best.

Ellie loves the sport because "it involves the water and is fun", but got into the sport through positive influences.
"I met a couple of other families and they got me involved in the tournament."
As with all young athletes, Ellie Thrower will continue to look for ways to improve.
