A thousand dollars was up for grabs for riders from the Veterans Motorcycle Club (VMC).
The Cannonball Run, hosted by the VMC, began at the McDonalds North carpark on Saturday, April 17 and saw riders go to the Terminus Hotel in Marulan, the Wakefield Park Raceway, Tarago and Bungonia.
There was also free sausage sizzle hosted by the RFS at the raceway.
President of the VMC Southern Tablelands Tim Stroud wished the riders the best of luck at the start, but also warned them to be careful.
"You will be riding on a mixture of highway, gravel and country road, so I don't want you overtaking if it's not safe to do so," Mr Stroud said.
McDonalds North owner Daimon Poole said he was always glad to see the VMC riders begin at the eatery.
The VMC Southern Tablelands host events throughout the year to raise money for local veterans.
