Ms Berejiklian congratulated the recruits on their achievement before saying they would be going into the one of the largest and best police forces on the planet.
"In recent times, every single member of the police force have stepped up to support our community during the horrific natural disasters and recently the pandemic," Ms Berejiklian said.
"They have been at the forefront of keeping our borders secure, maintaining our quarantine system and being at the forefront when people needed them most.
"All of you, having obtained that training, will following in those wonderful footsteps.
"Class 346 will go down as one of the most significant and most resilient of all time."
NSW Police Academy principal Superintendent Rod Smith, as he so often does, spoke about the pride he had for the recruits.
"Today marks a special day for the 204 members of the class who commenced their study and trained to become NSW police officers eight months ago," supt Smith said.
"They commenced their course in the middle of the pandemic which provided their first significant challenge.
"Despite that, the members of this class knuckled down and got the job done.
"That's what police do."
No recruits were allocated to the Hume Police District.
