Goulburn Fire Station's open day will still go ahead despite the cancellation of over 300 Fire and Rescue NSW stations.
On the Goulburn station's Facebook page, a spokesperson for the station said the open day was still going ahead.
"In case anyone is hearing the news about open day not going ahead, I'm pleased to advised that Goulburn fire station's open day is not affected," the spokesperson said.
"We will open our doors from 10am to 2pm."
Fire and Rescue NSW has been working closely with NSW Health to ensure all open day activities across the State are COVID-safe and in compliance with the public health orders.
Minister for police and emergency services David Elliott said this was an important day for Fire and Rescue NSW to drill home fire safety messages ahead of the winter period.
"Open day is a staple of our community and helps to build resilience by reducing both the likelihood and impact of emergencies," Mr Elliott said.
