The answer may be a firefighter for the young ones who turned up to the Goulburn Fire Station's Open Day on Saturday, May 15.

The station's deputy captain Scott Rowley said everyone who attended enjoyed themselves.
"We had a really good turnout despite the cool weather," Mr Rowley said.
"Those who came saw us demonstrate how we rescue a person trapped in a vehicle.
"We gave a general talk and allowed them to look at our trucks too.
"We would have used the hose, but it was too cold for it."
Recruitment for permanent firefighters is closed until July 2022, but on-call recruitment is open.

"Apply online if you think you are physically fit enough," Mr Rowley said.
"We encourage all genders to apply."

You have to reside near the station and have some weekday daytime availability to respond to emergency calls to be considered for employment.
