The Goulburn High student was recently part of the South Coast hockey team that went through the Combined High Schools (CHS) hockey championships unbeaten, and with only a couple of goals scored against them.
South Coast came up against Sydney North in the final which they won 2-0.
While Dylan had played in the South Coast team previously, it was the first time he had won the competition.
His performance earned him a spot in the NSW Opens team- another first for him - which will play in a tri-series later this year.
Prior to the CHS competition, Dylan represented NSW in the under-18 side at the Australian championships.

It was his first year in the side and NSW came home with the gold medal.
Over the weekend, Dylan travelled to Wollongong to compete in the Goulburn under-18 representative team at the State Championships.
Goulburn won the division two competition and from that he made the NSW under-18s Athlete Acceleration Program (AAP) squad.
Dylan said he loves the sport because it is very enjoyable.
"My whole family plays it and I like the physicality," Dylan said.
"It's a pretty physical sport and growing up on that sport I learnt to love it."
