The fourth annual cystic fibrosis annual dinner was an absolute hit for all the right reasons.
The event at the Goulburn Workers Club auditorium on Saturday, May 29 signified 50 years of the existence of the Cystic Fibrosis Goulburn and District committee.
One of the special guests was long-time committee member Trish Groves.
"It's a night that shows 50 years of hard work and sacrifices tinged with sadness," Ms Groves said.
"I'm so happy to have seen so much improvement during this time, but there's a long way to go.
"Fundraising nights like this will give kids a higher quality of life."
She said things were looking good because a new drug to treat CF was coming.
"So much has happened in the last 50 years and I can't wait to see what happens in the next 50," she said.
The night included a special tribute to Jake Apps and former CF committee member Sheridan Wood, who both passed away due to the disorder.
