A COVID-19 alert for Goulburn has been expanded to include an extra day after hundreds of people underwent testing yesterday.
The exposure alert for the Shell Coles Express Big Merino has been expanded to include May 19 from 1:45pm to 2:05pm.
The timeframe, originally May 23-24, was changed as household contacts of the original case tested positive and their potential infectious period included additional days in NSW.
NSW Health put out a list of exposure sites on Tuesday night which included:
- Shell Coles Express Big Merino, Goulburn - 10.00 to 11.30am, Monday, May 24 (expanded to include May 19)
- Trapper's Bakery, Sowerby Street, Goulburn - 10.30am to 11.30am, Monday, May 24
In NSW no new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.
According to the Southern NSW Local Health District 236 people were tested at Goulburn Base Hospital, more than 200 at Laverty Pathology and more than 90 at Capital Pathology in Goulburn on June 2.
"We are really happy with the fantastic response from the community," a spokesperson said.
"We encourage everyone to get tested."
Health district director of medical services Dr Liz Mullins urged community members to get tested.
"Getting tested was the best thing anyone can do," she said.
So far, COVID-19 contact tracers have been in touch with:
- 129 people form the Trappers Bakery in Goulburn, and
- 7 people from Shells Coles Express Big Merino in Goulburn
Trappers Bakery Goulburn is closed today as they continue to work with NSW Health to ensure the safety of the community.

We're looking forward to reopening our doors as soon as possible and serving up our famous Trappers pies and delightful sweet treats."
