Some of the special guests was well known and former Lion Tony Lamarra who attended with his wife Adriana and the well loved Jean Lloyd.
Mr Lamarra spent most of the night taking photos while Ms Lloyd had been associated with the Goulburn Lions Club for many years, like acting as a judge for Lions youth of the year.
Those in attendance were treated to a two-course meal of either a drop of chicken or beef.
After the meal, Ms Chapman gave her final report for the year where she thanked the members for their patience, understanding and support.
She said efforts during the difficult year proved a success and brought about outstanding results.
She thanked members for their efforts regarding the Lions Christmas Raffle and praised Robert Small for his organisation and sales of Lions Christmas Cakes.
She also thanked Des Rowley and his team for Mint sales, Bill Sommerville and Michael Gordon for the Friday Hotel raffle, Lee Kol and Prue Rickard and all members who worked at the soccer canteen, Youth of the Year chairman Bob Collins, Maureen Strong and helpers for organising Christmas Hampers and Mark Woodward for the monthly bulletin.
The new officers were president Michael Gordon, treasurer Ken Anderson, secretary John Flarrety, vice presidents Ron Furniss, Alex Harmer and Murray Robinson, bulletin editor and publicity officer Mark Woodward, tail twister Prue Rickard and public officer Robert Pedlow.
The Lions Club of Goulburn City is looking forward to another successful year.
