The design was undertaken by renowned architects Techne in an industrial mid-century style.
Ms Walker said the renovations would open up the space, focusing on a spiral staircase which would tie together the upstairs function area and the downstairs beer garden.
The new-look Astor will include an Austin barbecue inspired meat smoker area with food served directly to hungry customers.
The 40 motel rooms will receive a face lift in lots of six to 10 with new fixtures and fittings. Carpet and furniture will also be replaced.
Peter and Adrienne Griffiths, who also own the Tattersalls Hotel, bought the Astor in 2006 and opened in 2007. November this year will mark 15 years of running the award winning pub.
The pair recently conducted extensive renovations at the Astor Hotel in Albury, NSW.
Ms Walker assures the business will remain open during renovations. She said work was expected to start this year and be completed by the end of 2022.
She said the completed renovations would be very exciting for the community, and the new look hotel would help attract tourism.
"It's going to be quite impressive," Ms Walker said.
