Travel restrictions and lockdown in several areas including Sydney have impacted the revenue of the businesses in town.
The government implemented these restrictions as a preventive measure to curb the growing number of COVID-19 Delta variant cases daily.
On Monday, NSW recorded 207 local cases down from Sunday's 239 cases when Ms Berejiklian implored Sydneysiders to make August the month in which they were vaccinated.
Testing hit a record 117,000 on Sunday.

The usually packed cafes bustling with both locals and visitors to the city are now wearing a deserted look.
Anastasia Kontos, one of the owners of The Park Cafe in the city, feels that there has been a substantial drop in business after the recent lockdown.
"The number of travellers to the city has diminished. We used to have good sales, thanks to the travellers passing through the town, but that has obviously changed now with Sydney in lockdown," she said.
"Eating out is not a priority at this time and even locals prefer to stay indoors. So, it has been a bit quiet in terms of locals as well."
Cheryl Anable of the local store Splinters Home, Giftware and Furnitures starting feeling the effect of lockdown on the business last month.
"We have several customers who are elderly people. There were recent instances of COVID-19 cases travelling to the area which were later declared as a covid hotspot. To be safe, these customers prefer staying at home," she said.
She further said that people need to be educated more so that they do the right thing and not expose others to the risk.
