Hume Police District Commander Superintendent Paul Condon was out stopping cars in Marulan yesterday to ensure people weren't breaching lockdown orders.
In a Hume PD Facebook post Superintendent Condon said "It only takes one person doing the wrong thing to spread the virus to a regional area - and it's encouraging for police to continue to have the community's support through the reporting of this type of selfish behaviour."
"Our ideal day is when we don't have to issue a single PIN or charge anyone with breaching the public health orders.
"We want to work with the community to ensure compliance, so we can move past this as quickly as possible."
If you see people doing the wrong thing, please continue to come forward to police and report to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
