The awards will be held online this year in the wake of the pandemic.
This year, 17 award categories are open for nominations and will result in one business winning the coveted People's Choice Award.
Three of the categories are aligned with the BusinessNSW Business Award scheme, and seek to recognise exceptional employers, employees and start up businesses.

These categories will be assessed by an independent panel of judges. An announcement on the judges will be made soon.
The other 14 categories are focused on celebrating Goulburn's favourite local businesses across a range of industries/sectors. These categories will be decided by popular choice and voted on by residents of Goulburn Mulwaree.
Finalists from these categories will then compete for the coveted People's Choice Award.
Goulburn Chamber of Commerce president Darrell Weekes said that last year the favourite local business categories were introduced as a way to spread some cheer and excitement through the business community during the first COVID lockdown.
"Now, we need to do it again to acknowledge the important contribution small businesses make to our community. It has been an incredibly hard 18 months for so many businesses, and we hope these awards will give them something to look forward to. We want to celebrate their resilience and perseverance, and say thank you for showing up every day to bring us the products and services they do," he said.
People can nominate and vote via the Goulburn Chamber of Commerce website.
Nominations are open now and will close on midnight September 12. Voting will then be open from September 13 until midnight September 19. Finalists will be announced on September 20.
The Business2580 Awards will culminate in an award gala event on October 9. The event will feature the award presentations, a guest speaker and lucky door prizes.
The chamber are grateful for the support of a number of local businesses who are sponsoring individual award categories.
"The response to our call out for category sponsors just goes to show how much the local business community want to celebrate and support each other, and look forward to the Business2580 Awards. We were so impressed with how quickly businesses jumped on board and have been generous with their sponsorships," chamber secretary Liz Townsend said.
