The online resource was launched by Regional Development Australia Southern Inland (RDASI) on August 30 in collaboration with various councils across the region.
Philip Gibson, Grants and Projects Officer at RDASI, said that access to funding is important for the development of the region.
"The aim of the website is to empower people and provide a comprehensive list of grant and funding opportunities available to them," Mr Gibson said.
"We have launched the new online grant finding a resource to take the stress out of the process for those looking for grant funding opportunities.
"Finding and applying for grant funding can be a time-consuming and complicated ordeal for many people but by providing access to information about available grant means that local governments, businesses, community groups, sporting groups, not-for-profit and individuals can spend less time searching for grants and more time preparing for projects which will need funding of grants."
A link to the online resource will soon be available on council websites of Goulburn, Upper Lachlan Shire, Wingecarribee Shire and Yass Valley.
The website also provides tips and videos to help grant applicants become better prepared to successfully apply for funding.
This new resource is one of the most accessible and comprehensive online grants portal listing 98 per cent of available grants and filtering them relevant to the needs of the searcher.
