The show starts on Saturday after being cancelled last year because of coronavirus restrictions.
The state government has provided $4 million in support to ensure the event can proceed, with some of the cash providing 17,000 free tickets to disadvantaged children and their families.
Mr McGowan said medical staff would be on hand at the vaccination clinic to answer any questions people might have and to walk them through the process.
"If you're taking your family to this year's Royal Show and haven't had a chance to get vaccinated yet, this is the perfect opportunity to walk in without an appointment," he said.
With COVID-19 restrictions causing issues for show attractions coming from interstate, a number this year have been recruited from South Australia and Queensland.
Attendance numbers have been capped at 60,000 across the showgrounds each day, with caps also to be placed on individual pavilions.
Sixty COVID-19 marshals will also be on duty with all tickets to be issued online.
The start of the show coincides with the AFL Grand Final in Perth on Saturday, but Mr McGowan said the two big events did not raise particular concerns for a virus outbreak.
"That's one of the advantages of being COVID-free," he said.
"We'll be very vigilant about our borders, we'll be very vigilant about keeping the virus out."
WA reported one new coronavirus case on Monday, in a returned overseas traveller who is in hotel quarantine.
