Here are the clues explained in more detail.
Explanation (for clue) one: She is referring to the Southern Highlands.
Explanation two: If she's not singing she is baking all the time. As for the French words, she has lived in France for a few years and can speak French.
Explanation three: She loves New Zealand and has many dear friends from there including her sister who lives there. She has toured there and also once opened the show for Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen.
Explanation four: Besides being a singer, she is also a tour manager.
Explanation five: She has been vocal about the issue of racism in the country and has also been the victim of bigoted comments. She speaks up when she sees things that are out of line and hopes others do the same.
Explanation six: 21 grams is the weight of the soul and she is a soul singer.
Explanation seven: The opening of the jar is a reference to an Australian children's pop group 'The Tin Lids'' which she was a part of. Snakes and Ladders is the name of one of the albums released.
Explanation eight: The bird on the Western Australia is a black swan. Berrima, where she lives, is believed to be derived from the Aboriginal word black swan. Her father's surname at birth is also Swan.
