
Police have laid charges following an investigation into a serious single-vehicle crash in Goulburn last month.
About 1.30pm on Saturday, September 25, emergency services responded to reports of a serious single-vehicle crash on Braidwood Road, Tirrannaville, outside the Wakefield Park raceway, about 8km south of Goulburn.
Officers attached to The Hume Police District attended and found the driver, a 24-year-old man, trapped inside a white Toyota HiAce van, which had sustained extensive damage.
The man was extricated by emergency services and airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition. He has since been released.

Local police established a crime scene, and with assistance from the Southern Region Crash Investigation Unit, commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Following extensive inquiries, the 24-year-old driver was arrested at Goulburn Police Station about 3pm yesterday (October 3).
He was subsequently charged with five offences including; dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm (drive manner dangerous), negligent driving (occasion grievous bodily harm), drive vehicle under the influence of alcohol, never licensed person drive vehicle on road and take and drive conveyance without consent of owner.
The Goulburn man was granted strict conditional bail to appear in Goulburn Local Court on November 17.
